Welcome
This blog is about the success I have had in losing 85 pounds in the year 2010.
I have mantained this for over a year just by eating for my blood type.
Removing foods like wheat and corn because they interfere with insulin efficiency and slow a blood type O's metabolic rate.
In a perfect world I could live without everything . I do on a very rare occasion have some foods but (very little)that I shouldn't but NEVER wheat or corn.

I write about how I did the every day and the emotions that go with it.
I am in the process of writing a cookbook that has all of my recipes I have created to help on this journey.

My purpose in this blog is to encourage and equip people who are struggling with weight loss and eating healthy.

Eating healthy is the only way out.
I ate my way in this, so I ate my way out.

WOOOOOOHOOOOOO!!!

The other day I had to wait at a intersection for Marathon runners to pass .As the deputy waved me through I realized that they were all running slow. I know that you are to pace yourself and train for these events but I could not stop thinking about the pace they had well after I was long gone from that moment.
I remember reading about this marathon and knew that I probably couldn't be ready in time to give it a try .After seeing them run by me it made my desire to run in a marathon even greater. As a result of that moment I started to think about my treadmill workout .I began to think I can do this, I believe I can do this .
I can run a marathon.I have the endurance it takes.
My routine over the past year has been adjusted several times from starting out with 10 minutes walking on the treadmill to a 40 minute walk workout on the treadmill combined with 30 minutes on the elliptical ...tweaking it a few times has me where I am now.I was able to run for 45 minutes getting up to a speed of 4.2 miles per hour.
For some that might seem slow or nothing to brag about but for others like me a former over weight frumpy fat woman who was on her way to big trouble with her health this is nothing short of amazing.
I have gone from barely able to walk swiftly on the tread for 10 minutes to 3 minutes of jogging when I decided to start running in my workout routine. I remember thinking if I just could run 3 minutes I will do more then my goal was 5 minutes then 10 and so on and so on .
Here I am 1 year and 2 months later and this former fatty has achieved what I thought was near impossible .... BUT I DID IT !
So yesterday for the 1st time I set my treadmill for a 60 minute Jog...I thought run at a decent pace and your endurance will be there...So I did it...60 minutes set ...running @ 3 miles per hour (actually did 3.1 for 2nd half of work out)...30 minutes went by and I was feeling powerful ,encouraged and very successful and before I knew it my 60 min run was done and I wasn't overwhelmed and out of breath...I let out a cheer when I had 3 min left.
I felt very strong and very successful.
Not only did I endure a 60 minute jog non stop but I broke that 3 mile barrier .I had been at 2.70 miles for weeks.
Yesterday was major for me 60 minutes and 3 miles ...wooohoooooo !!!

If I can do this...you can do this
all things are possible for those who believe
I believed
